My dad is fond of saying that he can fix everything except a broken heart. Luckily for all of us, there's a bookstore nearby that can probably help fix that broken heart. Let's face it; the bookstore is one of the best places in the world to go for knowledge. These days you can go buy a book, surf the net and enjoy a cup of coffee all at your favorite book store!

One of the bigger sections is what I like to call the relationship rescue section. I have spoken to many women who have gone here to find that magic bullet to help get them fix their broken relationship. There are some really great authors and even more ideas on how to fix a broken relationship.

In spite of all the positive books there are plenty of negative titles. With titles like "Why he loves a Bitch", "Why he dates a Bitch", and "The Bastard On the Couch" you'd think that every guy is a fool or total jerk!

Thankfully, there are more positive books like The Chicken Soup for Your Soul series and others covering every subject imaginable. If there's an issue in your life, the book store can solve it.

The question is which book is the right one for you?

My editor liked the one by Steve Santagati whose only claim to fame was that he was a former male model. Luckily for single women everywhere, he's dated thousands of women and now has broken his silence to tell you how you can to! I actually read parts of that book and found some of it to be spot on while my wife found it to be inane and useless. She thought Santagati's book was the screenplay for the Ben Stiller's box office hit Zoolander!

The next question is how much time do you have to read dozens of books before you find the right one? You could read book after book and still be no better off 12 months later.

Which one's right for you? Unfortunately, book sections are not labeled to your specific needs.

And if you're like most women today, you probably don't have all the time in the world. You've got a job, friends, family, and a cat to feed. You might have an after hours work, church, or school function to attend. You finally get home, answer your voicemails, grab a bite to eat, and then collapse in front of the T.V. Then you'll probably check a combination of voicemail, email, text messages, tweets, new and old friends on Facebook, MySpace, Squiddo and LinkedIn.

With any luck you have thoughtful friends that know you and your needs and steer you to those things that can help you on your way to a better love life.
