A caution about article writing is to remember that lots of other webmasters are writing similar articles to bring in quick traffic as well. Once you've gotten the hang of writing the more basic articles, there are a few ways to elevate your article writing skills so that you can write like nobody else and stand apart from the throngs of other articles out there.
1) When you're writing articles, stick to topics in your niche and fill them with lots of usable information so curiosity will drive people to your website to read more. 2) Check up on your competitors. There are likely other companies whose names and articles come up in internet searches for your same keywords. 3) Always be thinking of topics you can address. Keep a small notebook with you at all times. Ideas for fantastic articles have a knack for strike as soon as there is no keyboard in the vicinity. So have a way to record these ideas when you're not at your desk so they don't slip away and leave you frustrated trying to remember your good idea. If you don't have a pen and paper, try sending yourself a text message, or even record an audio memo on your phone.
4) Take advantage of current events. Current events sometimes have a way of developing a long shelf life, and if you can link your article to something big happening in the news using keywords in your article, it could continue to pull lots of traffic to your site depending on how long the story stays in the public eye.
