5. After absorbing as much water as you can, you can now start the drying process for your books. Use an electric fan and leave it focused on the books. If the damp pages are still very delicate, you can use a dehumidifier to speed up the drying of the book. This will absorb the excess moisture in the air and will hasten the removal of any water molecules trapped in the pages of the book.
