She has the following abilities:
Enrage: increases her physical damage and attack speed. The effect lasts for a two minute time frame. When she reaches 25% health she will begin to use Enrage.
Crystaline Chains: this spell inflicts frost damage on the target and will immobilize it for five to ten seconds.
Tail Sweep: this ability sprays a cone of cold behind her. It causes 500 to 1,000 points of damage and will knock any players back that are within its area of effect. It's best for melee to stand on either side of her during this fight, similar to Ghaz'an from the Underbog.
Crystalfire Breath: this is another area of effect spell that sprays a cone directly in front of her. Anyone caught in its path will have their movement speed slowed and will receive damage over time.
Intense Cold: this spell deals periodic damage to nearby enemies. It will also slow the attack speed and the casting speed of anyone affected. This debuff can stack up to nine times. To remove the debuff, a player simply has to move in any direction or jump. Players will often forget to jump because they are so focused on the fight, and doing so can easily wipe a party.
Frenzy: Similar to enrage, this ability activates when her health reaches 25%. Frenzy increases her attack speed and the amount of damage she inflicts per successful hit. Hunter's can remove Frenzy with their Tranquilizing shot and if they do so, she will reapply Frenzy semi-frequently from that point on.
The Encounter
When players first enter her room, Keristrasza can be seen frozen in ice. Before you can engage her, you will need to clear the room of any patrols.
There are three clickable orbs located around Keristrasza. Three players will need to click the orbs in order to release her. It's recommended that you have your ranged and melee DPS click the orbs. This will allow your tank to taunt her as quickly as possible and will also allow your healers to focus on the tank initially.
Crystalfire Breath should be dispelled as quickly as possible, as should Crystal Chains. Everyone in the party needs to jump every so often to break the Intense Cold debuff. It's a good idea to have one party member remind everyone on voice chat to "jump" or "strafe" or simply "move!"
The easiest strategy for this fight is to simply have the tank keep her in one location and all DPS stand to either side of her. There's really no need to kite her.
Hunters need to be on the ball with their tranquilizing shot (removes Frenzy). The only drawback to this strategy is players typically get so focused on the fight that they will forget to jump and remove the debuff. That's why it's always best to have at least one player reminding people on voice chat. Other than that, it's a pretty easy fight.
