Emmy award winning Chicago native Kathy Griffin is known for her rapid - fire wit. After high school, Griffin moved to California with her parents. She would later join the well known Los Angeles Groundings Comedy improvisational troupe. The versatile comedian began to build an impressive resume by guest staring in roles on "Seinfeld" and "ER." On "Seinfeld," Griffin masterfully created a recurring character named Sally Weaver. But the comedian is probably best known for her four-year stint on the NBC sitcom "Suddenly Susan" as the loud mouth Vickie Groener, who was Brooke Shields' flexible colleague. After HBO saw how successful Kathy had been with her comedy special, they offered her own One- Hour Special, "A Hot Cup of Talk." When the comedian was not focusing on her stand-up routine, she had plenty of other projects to work on. Griffin supplied voices for characters on the animated series "Simpsons" and "Dilbert." The comedian even had a duel role on the sci-fi thriller, the "X-files." But perhaps her most surprising act came when she was featured in Eminem's video, "The Real Slim Shady," which was co-directed by Dr. Dre. The Lovely lady has been invited to co-host The Billboard Music Awards three years in a row; and appeared on numerous of talk shows including "Late Night with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Howard Stern," and "The View."

In August 2005, the comedian's reality show, "Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List" was aired and received rave reviews. The show continued for three years and the final episode was broadcast during the summer of 2007 by Bravo. The first three seasons of "My Life On The D-List" were each nominated for an Emmy for outstanding Reality Program. Seasons three and four won that prize back-to-back in September 2007 and 2008. Griffin married Matt Moline, owner of a computer consulting company in 2001. The marriage didn't last long and the couple filed for divorce in 2006. The comedian was romantically involved for a short while with Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wonzniak. She continues to prefect her comedy act to this day.
