As a new CPA marketer, your first step is to select several networks you would like to join. It's important to join more than one because there are a wider variety of offers available across the different networks. Whilst different networks will provide differing offers, don't be surprised if you come across offers that are available on more than one of them. Look at those 'repeat offers' particularly closely, because there may be varying levels of compensation for the same offer - be sure to pick the best one!

Be aware that some networks can be more difficult to get into than others. Have a concise marketing 'plan' prepared so you can show them more specifically how you will promote their offers. Your first step however, will be to fill out applications for the networks you have selected. You can expect to be asked the address of your website, how much traffic it generates, how you plan to promote offers, and other questions the network managers may feel are relevant.

Once an application has been submitted, it can take up to a week for a response. You might want to call the CPA network directly - a phone call can show the network manager that you are serious and if he likes what you have to say, you may be accepted right away.

You may not be accepted into all of your preferred networks right away, so focus on working with the ones who have accepted you. Once you have some verifiable experience at promoting offers, you can reapply. It's unlikely that a network will turn down a marketer who has proven he can make money for others!

Another tactic to consider if you are having problems being accepted is to see if an established CPA marketer can provide you with a good reference. Even if it doesn't work, just the intro to another internet marketer is a contact - and making new contacts in this business is never a bad thing. Try out the various marketing forums to get in contact with others.

Applying to and getting into CPA networks can be a frustrating process, especially if you are accustomed to being automatically accepted by other affiliate marketing networks. Some CPA networks are simply looking for a quality marketer with proven experience. If you follow the steps above however, you are likely to be accepted into enough networks to give you a chance to start making money - and building your experience - right away.
