Affiliate marketing is a really popluar way to make money. But what about CPA Marketing - how does it differ and what opportunities are there? There are fantastic chances to make money with CPA marketing and it's important to learn as much as you can about this model so you can put it into practice and start making money. Some say it is easier than PPC marketing - others say that you must start in PPC to learn the basics. I don't personally think it matters either way if you do your homework first!

CPA offers are a bit harder to understand than other regular affiliate offers. Each CPA offer is different, so you'll have to take the time to find out how you can best promote it, and be sure you clearly understand what the customer has to do in order for you to get paid.

Affiliate marketing is a bit simpler because the company provides you with a unique link which you use to drive potential customers to the offer. You then receive a commssion from any purchases that are made as a result of your link. While there are a few CPA offers that work this way by driving a sale, most are very different. With CPA offers, you are paid when people you have sent through your links take specific actions like entering an e-mail, a zip code, or signing up for a trial.

When you get ready to promote an offer, you will receive a code that is like an affiliate code in many ways. This code is used to tell the company that it was you who was responsible for getting the customer to take that 'action'. One of the appealing things about CPA offers is that converting a click on a link to cash in your pocket can be easier than it is with affiliate marketing. When a potential customer is dealing with a company they've never heard of, they are much more likely to provide some information for a free sample than they are to spend $50 on a product.

As an regular affiliate marketer, you receive nothing if the customer does not make that purchase. As a CPA marketer, you'll be paid as long as the customer performs the required action. So, as I said before, this can be as simple a thing as providing an e-mail address or a zip code. The company making the offer hopes that the information they receive can be turned into a sale longer term, but you will be paid whether or not it is. So, you'll be realising why CPA can be easier...many more people are willing to provide a small piece of information than they are to spend their hard-earned cash

There are many similarites between affiliate marketing and CPA marketing, but the differences are very significant. Most importantly, you get paid for CPA offers even if the company never makes a sale. Once the customer has provided the required information or accepted the free trial, your job is done and you earn!
