Lehman, who became the 13th player in Champions Tour history to win his debut, sank the winning putt in a bizarre sudden death play-off against Craig Stadler and Jeff Sluman.
After a pair of long birdie putts forced a second extra hole, no one made birdie on the 18th hole at The Westin Savannah Harbor Resort and Spa. All four players had short par putts, but they looked easier than they were.
Stadler was first and missed from seven feet for par. Langer had five feet to apply the pressure to Sluman, but the German also missed his easy par-saving putt.
Their partners had very short par putts to extend the playoff and Sluman was up first. His four-footer never even touched the hole and now Lehman had three feet for the victory.
The rookie on the elder circuit made his putt for the win. Lehman and Langer combined for a 10-under 62 on Sunday, while Stadler and Sluman fired an 11-under 61. The teams finished regulation at 27-under-par 189.
Former European Ryder Cup captain Ian Woosnam and his former assistant captain Sandy Lyle finished the tournament in joint 13th place. In start, Ian Woosnam was in good position but other players also played very well and after couple of rounds the table reflect and of course the game of golf not like other games there results will come in short time. Golf results depend on your all over tournament performance not a day or two only.
Woosnam, who has an equipment contract with Forgan of St Andrews, dropped from third after the opening round.
They finished on a combined score of 197, six-under for the tournament, after a final round of 66.
Woosnam, who was a member of eight consecutive Ryder Cup teams from 1983 to 1997, works closely with Forgan of St Andrews to ensure that the company remains at the cutting edge of golf club technology. His expertise also ensures that online custom fitting service gives golfers of all standards clubs built to their exact specifications.
Woosnam, who is defending European Senior Tour champion, also endorses the Stowamatic Titanium GT golf trolley which he helped to design.
Sunday's playoff was the fourth in the tournament's history and the first since 1998 when Dale Douglass and Charles Coody defeated Hugh Baiocchi and David Graham with a birdie on the second extra hole at Amelia Island.
