I absolutely had to pay this off somehow, so I decided to look for debt help online. This was probably one of the smarter things I have done for my debt relief because I was seriously considering filing for bankruptcy. Thankfully, I wised up before I did. I found some really great sites online - one in particular that helped me out. The one thing you might want to consider is looking for a review on a company before you actually sign up with them to help with your debt consolidation.
One of the best things you can do is look for things such as "debt consolidation company reviews" on some of the engines. Or you could even do what I did and specifically visited a site that had an entire "biography" or company profile on various companies online. The review gave things like testimonials (real ones), ratings, company info such as address, phone, and email as well as other things such as a blog listing if one is available and a link to the main site where the company is located. So here is something you might see about a specific company:
A huge load off my shoulders:
Being a single parent, you've given me a second chance at life. I thank you deeply. Being out of debt means so much to me and you taught me a lot. Your name, really speaks for itself. I love you guys!! You have put a smile back on my face. Greatly appreciated.
This is a really great option to view because the testimonial reviews directly from people that have worked with them. These people actually were helped or not helped by the specified company in the profile. Lucky for you, none of this stuff is edited out. So if you see positive things about a company - then they really are a good company to work with. If you see negative remarks - move on! There are plenty of good companies to work with, so if you don't like what someone says, don't waste your time!
