Nowadays, people are becoming more conscious of what they eat, where they eat and how they are living. I think it's great. Back in late 1990s early 2000s there were MORE obese people than EVER before. The mark hit at about 89% of people in the US alone. That's just crazy talk. Usually obesity refers to a person that's BMI is over 30 when using the following formula:

Divide your weight in pounds by your height in inches squared

Multiple the result by 703

The BMI for people at a healthy weight usually falls between 18.5 and 24.9

A BMI between 25 and 29.9 is considered overweight (which is not the same as obese)

A BMI over 30 is considered obese. Well over 30% of Americans fall into this category and the increase of health problems is dramatic.

However, now people are starting to WANT to change, want to lose weight. But honestly so many people ARE obese and they simply don't know how to lose weight. One of the options they choose is a weight loss diet pill. This is fine. But if I could I would suggest a few things to you before doing so. First off, it's important you talk to your doctor -- especially if you have medical conditions. Better to be safe than to be sorry! Second off, I would suggest doing a lot of looking around online.

There ARE products you can take such as Phen that are FDA approved and will help jump start your metabolism. However, there are also products available out there that may not be as good for you. So please just do your own research and see what people say about it. Do NOT go on blogs where people are selling it. Usually when these people give a positive review it's because they are an affiliate and will say anything to make you think it's an awesome product. Trust yourself! Lastly, I would suggest an increase in exercise.

You don't have to kill yourself with exercise and weights and running, etc. But just by moving around or walking around for 15 minutes a day it can make a dramatic difference in your weight and in your life along with the pills. The first month is going to be the hardest. But alas, once you start losing weight and your body gets used to it, and you start getting more and more energy you will BECOME so happy, and so amazed by your strengths that after the month is up, eating healthy and exercising is going to be as natural as breathing. Believe me, I know from experience! After a month, you will WANT to spend more time exercising. You are going to feel and look so good you will want to just keep up with it as MUCH as you can! Good luck!
